  • Such a great thing in life, when you are growing as a person and you know someone is definitely looking after you. Grandparents do have a deep and unconditional love for their grandchildren.

  • What you have written or discovered above, is something most of us can relate to and I’m no different. We all know the only person whose love, attention, and evaluation matter the most is, “our own” and yet we keep seeking others’ attention, love, and validation. From my own personal experiences, I just feel, understanding the fact doesn’t happen overnight. Loving yourself or learning to love and take care of yourself is a slow and constant process

  • Firstly, How you defined yourself as a strong independent woman was captivating and inspiring. I appreciate and acknowledge your strength, resilience, and individuality. This part ‘ “How are you supposed to live like that: live with your feet firmly planted on the ground when your eyes have been on the sky your whole life?” hit me differently. The way you have been living your life is so inspiring. I utterly believe that the guy you’re getting engaged with is going to get mesmerized by your personality and the kind of grit and determination you have within and will always be as supportive as you could have wished for.

    • Thank you so much for your kind words. I think you’re right in that he will always be supportive! This was a difficult letter to write to myself in that I needed to acknowledge some feelings that are hard to do, but I think it will all be alright in the end.

  • It couldn’t have been more relatable, I’m a little pessimistic too . Reading this made me relax a lot . This part is so inspiring! “She told me of a future where all things were held in the balance and nothing would be as it seemed as long as I remained unbalanced myself. There were endless possibilities that I could either clutch in my hands or rue the day they ever came. What a formless divination”. This really made so much sense to me and has motivated me to be prepared and seize the possibilities that are coming my way instead of being consumed by worry or uncertainty.

  • It’s remarkable how you motivate yourself. I once heard the phrase, “How you love yourself is how you teach others to love you”. You are your greatest motivation and idol. Keep moving forward, keep hustling. 🙂

Closure doesn’t always come from others but from ourselves. It’s a way of learning about ourselves. It’s important for us to realize that we must not rely on others for our happiness.
