  • We are so excited to have you! A Master’s Degree! Wow!!! You should be so incredibly proud. I am sorry to hear about the losses in your life as well as the bullying. I always say what someone says about you says more about them than it does about you. Stay away from the bullies and lean into the people who love you and treat you kindly, like your sisters and you parents. They sound amazing. And how lucky you are to have a twin – a built-in best friend. We are excited for you to join our family. We look forward to meeting you on Mondays or on Unsealed Conversations later in the week. You know have another family that will always cheer you on and show you love and kindness. With love, Lauren

Awww Roger, this poem is so good. Please stay strong. You are enough. You are more thane enough. You are strong. You are kind. You are giving. The world is lucky to have you. Keep being you. And please, love yourself. There is so much greatness inside of you that we all see. Now, you just got to look in the mirror and see it yourself <3

Aww @jfritz I love this. It is so nice to hear about the beauty in the world. I love Niagara Falls. While the world feels so scary right now, there are still so many beautiful people and places that offer us both peace and happiness. I, too, have many positive memories going to Niagara Falls and reading your letter made me think about going there with both my parents and my best friend. My best friend lost $600 in the casino on the Canadian side, so he might not have as good of memory of our time their as I do lol. But that is not important :). You’re right thought, our time here is all about community. It’s about people. It ‘s about LOVE and CONNECTION. <3. Thank you for sharing. – Lauren

    • I knew this would hit home with you from your NY days. This story really was just a small part of what I was privileged to witness and be a part of. One of my favorite sporting events is the Olympics and it’s not just because of the games. It’s watching the pure joy of so many from around the world together in one place celebrating a common int…read more

      • I love the Olympics too. I always liked all the stories, which isn’t surprising. I was inspired by the hard work, determination and relentless spirits of all the athletes. I always wanted to take their guts and determination and some how apply it to my life and my passions. Their stories made me believe anything is possible in life!

        • I believe you’ve already applied that relentless determination towards your life. Your passion is already reflected in your work where you’ve built your business from your dream into our reality as a community. The best part is that The Unsealed is unfinished and you’re making it grow one great story at a time. Your genuine authenticity of carin…read more

          • awww thank you. You have no ideas how helpful your words are. Building a business is no joke. It’s tough. But it’s comments like this one that tell me “Keep going. Keep pushing. This is meant for you.” Thank you for believing in me and believing in The Unsealed. It means more than words can express. with love, Lauren

  • What makes you proud?

    Hey Guys!

I decided to introduce pen pals in groups of four. You can also add and write to anyone in the community, but this just breaks the ice a bit.

So @sarita @lisaferreri21 @vcalero @jfritz all say hello. You are all strong and courageous people with stories to tell.

To break the ice, share with each other something that made you proud during the pandemic. Maybe you learned something new. Maybe you realized you were stronger than you thought. Perhaps you opened yourself up to making new virtual friends or maybe you started a business.

When the pandemic hit, I thought The Unsealed would unravel. I thought no one would sign up, and I wouldn’t be able to afford to keep going. While I was scared, I decided to step on the gas, even more, using the extra time at home to work harder and reach out to people one by one.

During the pandemic, I built enough of a foundation to get it to where it is today (which is still in its infancy, but it is a start). I am really proud I didn’t give up. I am really proud I pushed myself. I am really proud that I fought as hard as I could when facing fear, and I was blessed with all of your support.

You guys can start a new letter/new thread in this group or any other group. You can post your letters on your social media and decide whether you want the letters to be public for the world or private for The Unsealed community.

I can’t wait to read your letters and why you are proud.

Thank you for being a part of the family, and I hope you guys enjoy writing to each other. If you have any questions, I am always here to help.

    I love you all,

    Lauren

Your amazingly genuine compassion for your beliefs and others is second to none. I’d like to introduce myself to the other 3 fellow Unsealed community members. My name is Jamie Ellifritz…read more

@oneturbobenz Every time you share this story with me it reminds me why I do what I do. I am so sorry you were hurting and i am so sorry you lost your mother, but I am so glad that The Unsealed has helped you heal and get back on track. And also, I am so glad we’ve been able to build a beautiful friendship. Please keep taking pictures. Keep staying positive. Keep listening to your mother. While I am not a mother, I know any mom would not what to see their child hurting. She would want you to remember her but she wants you to enjoy life, chase your dreams, make friends, leave your comfort zone and lean in to the things that make you happy. Keep her in your heart, but don’t let your mother be the reason you don’t live a full and happy life. That is the very last thing she’d want. Anyways, we will always be here to support and encourage you. And I am beyond touched that our work has had such a large impact on your life.

Tagging some of you to share Roger’s story and the impact of The Unsealed. Feel free to share some encouraging words.
