Thank you as well! You raised an incredble daughter who faught through so much adversity and self doubt thank you for sharing this gem with us!! I am sure you’ve raised an awesome son as well. You have the best of both worlds. I sometime think I let my kiddo down or that they are lonely. But I am truly doing the best I can. Thank you for sharing your insight.

How did you make life more clearer through a cup of coffee?? Steller!!! Like seriously, it makes Me feel visualize the first sip” of life differently now. Ryn, you are special. As a 18 year old society deems us as “grown, legal” I guess they equate that to having everything figured out too. I adore this letter so much its a first reminder to never over ausume or indulge too greatly without really having that first sip. Wishing you well :”)

The growth and evolution in you is amazing. Thank you for being transparent within the community. I needed this. Deciding to grow up and show up in the way that “serves” you is what I needed. That is why I am parenting my child differently than I was raised and much more differently then how my mother and grandmother was raised. I am praying for your peace and sending you much love and light. Thanks again for sharing.

Wow Oswalt!! Reading the letter I felt saddened by you forcing a smile on your birthday. It sucks I was there at 17,16,15…. but I am so so grateful you shared the silver lining and you traveled! And every year at that! How was Europe? Where is the next trip? I’m excited to hear more. Wishing you well. 🙂

“Right now, I know everything hurts. I know that you cry almost every day, hiding it from those around you and I know you cry almost every night, whole bodied and uninhibited.”
In my teenage years, and now in my adult life it hurted/hurts so so bad. I OFTEN smile, laugh and try my hardest to be present. Mentally I am not there fully but I am trying. And so are you and for that and this heartfelt letter I am thankful for! Thank you Grace I appreciate you so very much!

Cami, you are beautiful!
I hurt so badly when I read this line.
“You’ll love your body.
You’ll love life.”
So many times in my teenage life I didn’t love mine. I didn’t know how to , cause nobody ever really preached self love overall. Or maybe they didn’t know either.
I am so sorry for the pain you endured at the hands of those meant to protect you. I know it is not fair, it does not take the pain away as an adult or thereafter. I pray for your peace and continuing strength for many many tides to come. 🙂Subscribe  or  log in to reply

Danielle, I apologize for any trauma you felt during your teenage years. You shined so bright through it all and that is so so commendable and brave. Being confused as a teenager is completely allowed. Being confused as an adult is completely allowed. Life is hard to be gentle with yourself, then now and always! Thank you for sharing. 🙂

Llorona, you are simply strong in every sense of the word!
I love this letter. It shows how much you are a warrior. You have tried and tried and tried again and as many times as it takes you have shown up for yourself is incredible. Jazmine, you are a Goddess. Our hair will ALWAYS be done. No matter the style, shape, texture or hue it is done and it gives life overall.
I feel you when you say, let love in… It’s hard. Very. When you are a natueruer and a lover in all sorts you want love to visit you in a comforting and secure way. You also want to be the person you need. I am praying for you then now and always! Sending love.Subscribe  or  log in to reply

Elizabeth, whoa! How’d you do all of that in Alaska??!! Wow , every time I think about Alaska I think of great iceburgs, ice fishing and ice baths!! lol You lived life as it was given to you and you made icewater out of beets! Thank you so so much for sharing this letter!! It’s amazing. ‘Life is still occasionally shitty, and you’re in a new conflict at least 3 times a week” this is a loaded sentencee and I felt every word. Sometimes we have conflict that we are not even aware of and most times that is best. We grow above it! Wishing you well 🙂

Dlamdiva, thank you!
Thank you for speaking to the 14 year old Me that ran away from everything you mentioned in this letter including myself. I needed this reminder and as the tears falls while typing this you are right. Some of the things we suffered during our teen years strengthened us as adults. I hope you are well and I am wishing you a ton of love and light then now and forever 🙂Subscribe  or  log in to reply

Shelle, I know I commented already but I am sending you more grace and virtual hugs. Being young while trying to figure out adult and mom life is no easy task. I commend and thank you for being present even on the hardest days you didn’t give up. What’s next? What will you conquer, what would you say to your adult self as a teen? Thank you for sharing! 🙂

The funny thing about life is that it will always give us more or less. How we utilize it is what matters. Just like then and now and then, you did the best you could with what you had and that means so much more even now. Thank you for sharing Kim this is an awesome piece! 🙂

Meditation is powerful. That type of mind peace is incredible. I need to really learn how to get back to that. I love a holistic change theory and learning to let go of burdens that you did not create. Thank you for sharing your scope of things. 🙂

“Conserving energy to understand what makes you thrive”
I read this line over and over again! I even wrote it down because this is something I have struggled with for a while, I want to conserve healthy energy and give that same energy back. Thank you for planting the seed. 🙂Subscribe  or  log in to reply

I see you on my screen now and I’m thankful for your transparency Catherine. I want to see you on screens globally telling your story and resonating deep within. You’re able! Amazing! And well educated! You are right about the movies providing mass misinformation on a topic they seem to know nothing about or didn’t research or ask any humans questions either. Evolution is needed and I’ll be happy when you are on screen to provide so. I wish you well thank you for sharing. :”)
