  • God still working

So my place that changed my life forever is the airport, I met a lady online and we became friends, and we talked for at least 4 to 8 hours a day or until the phones would disconnect, and after sending letters and pictures ( she made me guess which one she was ( I was able to) we had it planned for August 8th, I was going to pick her up from the airport after all she was coming from South Dakota and I was in South Carolina, I had told my boss about her and her panicked saying BE CAREFUL ( I DIDN’T care there was something about this Amazing young lady and I was LOOKING FORWARD to finally meeting her) The day came and I was Early and she flew in to the Gsp airport and was 10 minutes early, I told her to get back on the plane. When we met , WOW, and Time stood still, That moment August 8th, my life changed FOREVER, we have been married for 20 years together for 22 and Still going Strong.Im thankful she didn’t get back on the plane (: she may not have gotten off) She wouldn’t fly back home, Cause this is Where our story starts. My wife, my best friend, it all started with love at the Gsp

  • GoodNews clowns

My wife and I have been apart of The GoodNews clowns for 12 years and we are Christian clowns, yet WE DON’T PUSH our Living God on anybody and we won’t wear face paint. We give out over 20 different balloon animals to kids and ANYONE who wants one. And when we do a event we won’t be late and we will GLADLY STAY until everyone who wants a balloon animal gets one It still seems as though the world we live in the word Clown isn’t mentioned and considered HORRIBLE, growing up there was Ronald McDonald and Bozo the Clown and kids were laughing their heads off.The new generation of clowns are Evil and the Media WON’T PUSH A LAUGHING CLOWN, if they do ANYTHING BAD, they jump All over it,( the clown scare years ago) if they do good, they turn a blind eye and see Nothing. We are BLESSED and THANKFUL for the Amazing events we have and THEY ARE AMAZING, yet we have had some events that WE WERE STUNNED by, One event we were out behind the music sound system and TOLD there was NO OTHER SPOT, to take it or leave it, or one event we were put in a back room away from everyone else and told there’s no other spot for you.Our Many crazy balloons Will ALWAYS BE FREE, and we will pray with you if you ask us to or talk about God, BUT WE WON’T PUSH IT .We live in a Stereotype world, where you hear how a person is and they are judged before you know them.Never judge a book by its cover.Ph413 I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.

So for 24 years I have been a lube/tire tech, I have worked some Amazing jobs and never expected to move up, well after my Longest reign of 7 years at a job, I had a opportunity to get within 10 minutes of my home.So I hated leaving but it was time to go.The first day at this new job was SPECTACULAR, after that it was A NIGHTMARE, I regretted going to work, but I was working 5 days a week so I really couldn't leave.I received a call from my job I walked out on 20 years ago.It just so happened the interview was the day we were getting off work early for a Christmas party ( I didn't go to the party) I went to the job was Ready to be a LUBE TECH ( he didn't need what I was) So I figured a porter or something smaller,( I didn't care I WANTED OUT of that other job and I was willing to DO ANYTHING.My boss told me I was to be PDI TECH( ALOT BETTER and better pay) So I GREATLY ACCEPTED.I would quit this other job ( another story) And I'm VERY HAPPY I HAVE AMAZING COWORKERS, I'M HAPPY, and I love MY JOB AGAIN ( FIRST TIME IN YEARS) I THANK GOD for All the hardships cause it led me to my Final Auto shop.I don't know how long I have left to work on cars, But honestly I'm just getting started.PH 4:13 I Can do all things through Christ who strengthen me.

It says a lot that you have stayed in the same industry for 24 years! I’m sure you are absolutely great at what you do. Thank you for sharing your experience!

  • Blessing in Disguise

I love my 1999 Little Blue Honda, Now it’s not the best little car and it has Many Flaws, but it’s a blessing in disguise, I was in need of a car and this car fell into my lap for $200 dollars, but it wasn’t that on my Anniversary this little car ran hot, and I was able to to get it fixed (temporarily) in the end the head gasket was blown and I got blessed and got it repaired, well I did a paint job, seat covers, dash covers and painted the wheels, but it wasn’t fixed it would need a Motor, and my job would take out $100 a week for 17 weeks, but Man it was WORTH IT, I ended up getting it back STRONGER than ever until the heat messed up, but honestly I didn’t care, the Turkster and I had a bond ( it’s my First Honda) yes it has it’s Flaw’s and No heat, but Man it’s got a Sunroof and a Aftermarket cd player, This Thursday will be 2 weeks I got a Charger, BUT I HAVE A BOND with my Honda, I feel complete with this car.I LOVE MY CAR.ITS BEEN A BLESSING IN DISGUISE

So last year my mom was diagnosed with AML and immediately our lives changed instantly, we quit looking at 6 months from now and were thankful for the moment, we still planned ahead but new anything could happen, well Thanksgiving came and noticed my mom wasn’t acting like MY MOM, we had planned a Special Thanksgiving with homemade egg rolls and she was sleeping a lot, well we were praying and Trusting God and on Dec 15th we would take her to the hospital. The doctor told us her instines were twisted and asked if the cancer was being treated our hearts sank, We were planning on spending Christmas with my mom, but the 17th of December I had to sign a DNC for my mom, Everyday I spent with my mom was short.Dec 22nd she would pass away.I spend Christmas eve getting her grave site ready, Im STUNNED at what happened. We now cherish EVERY DAY and WILL MAKE HER PROUD.

  • Never GIVE UP

2025 is going to be My year, sadly my mom passed away December 22nd and We ARE ALL STUNNED, but my Mom taught us TO NEVER GIVE , she taught me that NOTHING IS TOO SMALL for me to accomplish it, I just have to go after it, so my goals this year to ENJOY LIFE, smile and CHERISH EVERY MOMENT, there’s good if we look for it( just like bad) I am NOT GOING TO COMPLAIN about the guy cutting me off or losing a football game online, my other goal is Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, I have always been told I CAN’T DO SOMETHING, you should try smaller, well I don’t believe that, I believe I have to give my all and I at least TRIED, ( I would rather try and lose rather than to Never try at all) So this year I plan on being MORE POSITIVE and Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade is the ONLY PARADE, I want to be in this year. Stay positive and remember Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible

    • Leroy, I am so sorry for your loss. However, I see that your mother instilled SO many life lessons that you hold with you, which is so special! I love the line “I would rather try and lose rather than Never to try at all” because regret is so much more sad than knowing something is impossible. I love your mindset: give it your best shot! Great job!

  • Coming home

I would love to tell you 2024 was the GREATEST year ever, but it has been MY MOST GROWING year, this year we received my hero ( my mom had leukemia, and we were prepared to fight with her , we rushed her to the hospital on multiple occasions and for a month she was in the hospital, so we took care of 2 homes and prayed and believed in a MIGHTY GOD, who can do ALL THINGS, well after the month was up , she was CLEARED OF IT ( THANK YOU JESUS) and I rented a billboard and I TOLD EVERYONE, she was coming home, she beat the leukemia ( ALL THANKS TO GOD) I watched as all those years it was MY TURN to help her, Everyday is a NEW DAY and we don’t look months in advance, we are taking day by day. 2024 was the year I GREW MENTALLY, and I watched my mom BEAT what was impossible.. LUKE 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible

    Hurricane Helena

So we had gotten warning after warning about the hurricane and Thursday night we would go to bed, we had heard it was coming in , so I wanted to watch it come and watch it leave ( or so I thought) I got up at 4 that morning and it was starting to get rough ( we were in a single wide mobile home) and I told my mom we had power we were good, not 10 minutes later the power goes out and EVERYTHING could be heard, I went outside and it looked HORRIBLE, my mom lost 5 trees and a tree that meant so much to use, I saw neighbors helping neighbors, people were confused, NOBODY HAD POWER, as we still clean up, we are THANKFUL TO BE ALIVE, those trees are gone and New memories will take place. That day OUR LIVES changed.GOD IS SOOO GOOD
