Reconstruction
Reconstruction
Peel off my layers,
Unravel my fears,
Decode my lies,
Dispose of my tears,
Exclude my insecurities,
Arrange my “self”,
Comfort my wounds,
Aide me with health,
Please my soul with creations,
Subtract the debt,
Remind me that what’s good is currently left,
Make me good as new,
Forgive my past,
Have faith in my future,
Believe I will last,
Consider my growth,
Encourage the process,
Be my stool to newer heights,
Give me space when I’m stressed,
After all you’ve done and all you do,
I hope my reconstruction is perfect for you.Subscribe  or  log in to reply
You are extremely talented. I love the flow of this poem so much! As soon as you said “peel off my layers” I immediately imagined layers of myself physically peeling; it was a great opening line to pull the reader in!
