You are so strong. I myself had a heavy load to carry. I was forced to grow up really fast. My family moved a lot and I had to adapt and overcome. Never developing solid friendships with anyone because of the moves we had to make. It’s hard for me to look back at my childhood because of it. Thank you for sharing your story.

Don’t ever let someone knock you down. I feel like when you love someone who’s not meant for you we often get lost in the thought of what it could be. Thank you so much for sharing your story.

I tell people all the time. Trauma is similar to a child who cries when they sill water. It might not be a big deal to others but to them their entire world is falling apart in that moment. You are so strong for sharing your story. Thank you.

You are so inspiring. I relate my life to being a mom often because as a mother you have to show up for your children even when you’re sick. You’re so strong thank you for sharing.

God answer prayers. I’m so sorry that you went though this. Your faith is unwavering. People don’t realize how strong faith is. It’s one of the most powerful things.

I am a big believer on choice. Everything is a choice. I recently heard a quote that said “you have two choices. You can either let life happen to you or let Life happen for you!” I just think that’s such an eye opener.

I love that!!! It’s so true. Lately I’ve been telling myself that I mastered surviving and now it’s time to live. I’m so thankful for every day now. Good and bad. Even on those bad days .. I’m living and feeling everything as it is .

Life is full of mountains to climb. You reach a peak to one then a bigger mountain pops up and you reach the peak of that one too. It’s funny really success is never ending. Even the smallest wins are still wins. Thank you for sharing.

My mother caused a lot of trauma and as a mother to 3 under 3 I do see why she reacted the way she did. I get triggered a lot but it’s also opened my eyes in knowing that how you react is a choice. As my children grow so do I. They heal me and humble me daily. God gave me these children as a blessing to open my eyes and heal. Thank you for sharing your story.

Yes! Wear your curls with pride. My mother use to get mad at me for wearing my natural hair always asking me to brush it. If I did I’d frizz out and shed just look at me confused. Curls are beautiful!!!

My husband has been nothing but good to me. It’s hard for me to fathom that someone can hold so much love for another person. I can’t imagine what it would be like if he was no longer here with me. I do know it would shatter me. I’m so grateful for him.

I use to believe that rainbows were good luck. Now every time I see one I think of my dog that passed away when I was 18. My sweet boy had been there for me since I was only 5 years old. Such a good ol boy.

This is beautiful. Loss doesn’t have to be painful. It can be a celebration of life. I think it’s beautiful that you don’t feel like your ancestors would waste time worrying. Instead that they’d just have faith in who you are. Thank you for sharing.
