I am not a cat although there might be more similarities than I think…
Skittish, don’t like to be touched except by a select few
Although like a cat
I too have nine lives
Son
Brother
Father
Husband(wait, this life has died, buried underneath the hot Texas red dirt)
Writer
Insecure, depressed suicidal wreck of a boy
Quiet, self-assured patchwork quilt of a man
The eighth life is the one lived inside my head- galaxies exist therein.
The ninth life is the one yet to come, the life that is in my future, the life that I hope in which I am able to land on my feet and step into completely whole.
