LaurenDear Roger, I want you to know that I am so grateful for your friendship. Starting The Unsealed has been really hard and at times even draining. But because of people like you, it is also really rewarding and totally worth it. People like you make me realize my work has a purpose far greater than just myself. I remember when you first reached out to me and told me your story. I was so incredibly touched that our site and our stories provided a source hope in one of the darkest moments of your life. I hope that throughout the last few years, you have found a home and a family in The Unsealed and you have more good days than bad days. Life is definitely hard. There is so much pain. There are so many different obstacles and challenges each one of us face. But I hope I have created a community that makes it a little easier to face those challenges together and make people feel like they never ever are alone in this world. I am so grateful for your support, your friendship, your encouragement and your love. It’s so cool how you were one just someone who watched me on TV and now you are a life long friend. Thank you for inspiring me. @oneturbobenz

Had I known that freezing my hands off to take a photo would lead to our amazing friendship, I would’ve taken a few more. The kindness and support you have given me will be impossible to fully thank you for. You have become one of the ways I will measure future friendships. You are an incredible person who gives so much hope and light to this world. Sometimes this world can be a very dark place and it can seem like it is impossible to have hope. You are living proof of that hope in this world. You help so many people tell their stories and through them, you lend their strength and courage to those that read them.
A cold morning and a cool evening had a way of changing the path my life is taking, because you had the courage to create something like The Unsealed. Fate, through the power of my Mother from the beyond told me to read that letter that night. I’m certainly glad that I did. I will always support you through whatever challenges or obstacles you may face in this incredible journey we call life. I owe that and so much more to you. Le grá agus dóchas!
