Loosing and Choosing a Sister
Losing and Choosing a Sister
The grass isn’t greener
On this side of the fence
It’s dry and crunchy
When you take a step
Life over here is
Nowhere close, to perfectBut we’ve got lawn chairs
And the blender works great
Tiny umbrellas in our drinks
We have good music and
Morbid jokes
We have each other
When you don’tOne day the clouds
Will roll in
To water our grass
The drought will pass
Turning our yard back to greenBut for now, we’ll stay here
In the scorching heat
Keeping each other company.Voting is closed

Aww this is such a sweet piece. There is nothing like a true connection with another human where simply being present in the moment with that person – whatever is that you are doing – is the best thing in the world. Thank you for sharing and thank you for being part of The Unsealed family. <3 Lauren
