I am a former foster youth. I aged out of the foster system at 18. Growing up in foster care affected the way I use to express my feelings and interact with others, in a negative way. Writing helped me overcome this. I love to write. Writing is my therapy, my medicine, the way I express myself. When I write I feel free and like nothing can stop me. I feel better immediately.
