Grateful for the Gospel

I smile and say: “Good morning.”
But everyone seems like they are mourning.
Have they not heard the news of our Lord and savior?
Who we will see one day in eternal paradise
He died for our sins upon the cross
Wrongdoing, he committed none.
Rejoice! Be thankful
Our Lord loves us.
He brought me out of darkness
And healed my broken heart
Without him, I would be lost.
Gratitude cannot repay the sacrifices he made.
So I will spread His word until we are united at last.
