I am the mom on the school pickup line, baking on Sundays yet I am more than I appear. I once lived a very different life, one that people of present could not fathom, at times I cannot believe it’s real and that I am alive to type this. I turned my emotions off when I was 5 and would not allow anyone to get to close to that sacred area for fear they would hurt me or they would then know me. The very memories that both haunted and hunted me are what catapulted me to this moment of freedom to be who I always longed to be, Felice. I could not bare to look at myself in the mirror at one time and now I say nothing but loving words. I changed my life and it changed the lives around me because I followed my truth, something I ran from before.
