    Famileague

These are supposed to be the ones who love without conditions in existence. But for many of us they taught us to build up defenses against them. Like henchmen, they some time linger around with goods intentions, just to pillage your emotional village with such persistence you feel witless. Spite and depreciation that can bleed cognition and drain integrity. It’s something we pray we never get to breathe. As an heir of toxicity hidden behind images of culpability. So many postrate that things are filled with glee when the rigors of forced pics leave you more tense. Half smiles and one armed hugs. Over sharing your self into the awareness of a so-called love. That we call drugs. They answer but the cancers of detriment leave us feeling like heaven’s fringe. Gated and delayed to the post that were hesistant. Conflicted by our choice of measurement. Family is supposed to be about equity but why is the lack of support something that hardly erects us peace. Speeches about traumas become speeches about comas. Competition between siblings have you feeling sheepish like Llama. It’s bleak. The doubt drama about your involvement and loyalty. But nevertheless these is the idiosyncrasies of royalty. We supposed to stand tall and together like sequoia trees. But some time the forests freeze. And become more brittle like how caramel makes the nuts of Pea. I’d fix it all with my love if it was up to me. Family is what you make it. And quite frankly in life that’s truly and simply real luxury.

    • Wow, this is such a deep poem. I have siblings and we tend to compete a lot but not too tough I would tell you especially since it is ten of us. I feel sorry for those who have to go through that.

      • Thanks so much for your kindness and sentiments. And enjoying my content. I can tell your strength and compassion is well founded. In life we go through so many rigors. It’s the joy of expression that always proves medicinal. Be well.
