When I read your letter, I felt like it was a direct reflection of the way I raised my children. I lost myself in my children, my job, my friends, etc. Never myself. I had to release all those attachments before I could fully see how much I needed me. I was so busy trying to control the outcome of my children’s life, I couldn’t see just how good they already were. There is so much I used to wish I had taught them or told them. I now look at them and I see just how much more put together than I was at their age. Whenever there is any doubt, I always tell myself “They Got This”. Knowing they truly have it. Thank you for sharing your story.
