I just signed in and read your reply. Thank you for your kind words. My Lauren (is your middle name Elizabeth as well?) did get her perfect dress with the retirement monies given to her.

The wedding date is set for August and I have additional news. She surprised me with the news on Mother’s Day that she is having a baby! Although, I would have liked to have had her married prior to getting pregnant, I’m over the moon! She will be 35 in July and ready to be a mom!

I feel like we are kindred spirits along with your mother. We know what it’s like not to take for granted the little things in life, but to realize what is most precious to us…especially, feeling like the most beautiful bride on your wedding day.

My Lauren does not want me to ask for “votes” for privacy reasons. Therefore, you will see little too no votes. That’s all good because I couldn’t think of a more heartfelt way to share with her my plans.
