Michelle, this story was profound. The acts of kindness shared here are remarkable. I thought it was going to end at the register, but you kept receiving daily gifts of love and appreciation. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that some people can be so KIND when others are so selfish. I am grateful for your stranger too, for it reminded me that when we put good into the world, it is not the receptivity that we should cling to, but the joy that comes with it.
