Lauren Brill is a seven-time Emmy-nominated and AP-award-winning sports journalist. She has worked as a sports anchor and reporter for ABC and CBS affiliates in Cleveland and Buffalo, respectively. She also served as a reporter and color analyst for MSG Varsity, a high school sports network.
Lauren has written for several nationally-known outlets including, NBA.com, WNBA.com, NikeWomen.com, ESPN’s Girl Mag and womensprosoccer.com.
In college, Lauren majored in sociology at Columbia University, focusing her studies on the impact of sports on society.
Her experiences as a writer and sports television journalist have prepared her to take on the task of creating a media company that provides a safe space for people to share their truths and propel social progress.
Audra Frimpong Esq.
Audra Frimpong is a former University of Alabama track and field All-American turned attorney. During her time at Alabama, she was an elected representative of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee where she acted as the voice of the women’s track team in their on-campus experience as well as issues they faced as student-athletes. She spent all four years volunteering at various middle schools in the area, speaking to children about confidence, finding their purpose and achieving goals.
She continued her educational career at Syracuse University College of Law, where she earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence. Her passion for community and ability to be a voice to the voiceless continued as she conducted an independent study titled, “Female African American Solo Status: The Psychological Process and Loss of Black Identity in Corporate America.”
She believes her personal and career experiences have afforded her the opportunity to create a social platform for those to share their stories.
