But, I’m so so happy that this letter helped you in some way. I actually need to read it every now-and-again too. I’ve found that dealing with tough situations or healing isn’t a linear process. Just because I learn a lesson or find a coping mechanism hasn’t meant that I am good moving forward. I forget the lesson or fall back into a habit of negative thoughts or allowing anger to drive me. So, I needed a reminder…hence the note to myself.

This was a wonderful letter to yourself. The world is infinitely complex, especially nowadays. It is fast-paced and much smaller due to social media. Wading through those complexities with the added obstacles you cite above must be extraordinarily tiring. I loved your advice about not trying to fit external expectations and encouraging yourself within the pursuits you choose yourself.
