Don’t be so hard on yourself. You were caught up in the moment. You made the decision, you picked your choice, now you have to own it. While it is his responsibility, it is your body. And men need to stop treating women like toys, and fiddling with our emotions like they are hobbies.

Grief is strange. But the pain can be so sublime. You can make what you will with it. And the truth is you are doing just fine. You do not need anyone’s permission to live your life.
