  • Letter to myself

    Dear Me,

The irony of this letter is bittersweet.

I look back on my life now and see hopefulness, a life filled with joy and contentment.

Yet at times I weep at the lack in which my present day stillness lay meek.

I have found life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness to be disgusted by the definite perplexities in which I once knew. That progressive joy does not excite me as did the seduction of my ego.

Life is a precious gift and should be cherished, yes.

But, no one speaks on the pains we are to live with as we learn to execute sanguine strikes upon this world.

    You may find yourself asking:
“When do I enjoy the fruits of thine emotional labor like once before?”

And I share that, in our journey through the depths of the infernal region,

said joy just happened to be abundant. Addictive but unsustainable.

I guess what I mean to portray is that you must allow yourself to experience life’s dualities.

Never be afraid to take risks for suffering is as much of a philosopher as love.

Trust, I envy the strength in which my current sorrows will provide you.

Our armor built from compassion and brut.

So, do not forget that you are capable of achieving all of your hearts desires.

I advise you to rest and identify shame and angers scandalous affairs with Trinity, understand the importance of letting go.

The practice of this remembrance make not perfect solace but improved advancement of needed present movement.

Take time to appreciate the moments in which gratitude comes after perceived punishment. Be gracious for all that you have.

    With love,

    Doofanter iortyer

    • Life does have so many different experiences that lead to so many different emotions. But I agree with you. You got to take it all in, take risks, and let go of whatever doesn’t serve. Gratitude is huge, and I love that you ended the piece with the idea of gratitude, even in the wake of pain. Keep writing. Keep being you. You are amazing. <3 Lauren

  • I’m in a Throuple

    Dear Reader,

We are living through soooo many social revolutions.

So I felt it was time to share…

    I am In a Throuple.

Mediation, Prayer, and me are getting prettyyyy serious.

    Meditation, prayer, and I?

I are prettty serious? I am pretty serious?

Okay I think you get the point.

I needed to share my thoughts.

That’s what this message is going to be about… sharing my thoughts with spirit that is. The energy that makes strong. My sine qua non, without which there is nothing.

I’m currently at level 8,766 in this video game I call life and I found the cheat code of the century.

Polygamy! Well spiritual polygamy. The active relationship between me, meditation. And prayer!

A while back, I was reading the newspaper, and there is a quote in the print that says “you cannot only love America when you win”

And I apply this sentiment to our relationship. Meditation , prayer, and… myself.

I can’t only be okay with life when things are going well.

I can’t ONLY pray and meditate when I’m at extreme highs or lows.

The same way I can’t just give up on my most serious relationships when things get tough. This is when I feel the strongest. When I let vulnerability shine through.

Remembering this gets easier as I practice to live with Intent. The bad stuff keeps happening but I am a lot more equipped to approach each moment with kindness and understanding.

So I guess, what I’m tryng to say is:

    Date around with spirituality.

If your faith does not wake you up and make you feel full of gratitude and understanding for others, then maybe it’s not right for you!!

I’ve found that my relationship with Spirit has only become stronger since I stopped going to church. I’d even say I’m a better person now that I’m finding ways to walk in my divine light as ME.

Namasté.( The Spirit in Me Sees The Spirit in You)

    • Dauphine, This is so creative. A healthy relationship should be supportive and consistent and make your life better. It sounds like meditation and prayer do just that. I hope the three of you live happily ever after together :). Thank you for sharing, and thank you for being a part of our community. <3 Lauren

    • Dauphine, the title and the picture to this letter threw me off. I was shocked to see if you were in a throuple. This letter is really creative and an attention grabber because you definitely fooled me. Meditation and prayer and you developing a relationship with it is a good trait to have. You don’t look at the physical side but the spiritual s…read more

  • Goals of a Lover

At times I am at a loss for words because
I have this heart that loves so deeply,
A soul that soars and gives so freely,
A spirit that weeps yet knows no bounds,
A journey that tells stories of creation profound.

In this new season all I wish
Is to love abundantly and never cease to relish,
Relish in all my heart knows, to be filled with peace wherever I go.

My journey will bring me so much delight,
As I choose to share my love with all in sight.

I will love this world with my heart and soul,
And bask in the joy in which it unfolds.

    • Dauphine – I love the rhythm of this poem and how it flows so smoothly. These two lines caught my attention right away: “I have this heart that loves so deeply,
A soul that soars and gives so freely, ”
Keep sharing your love and your heart with the world. The world needs it. Thank you for sharing this poem and thank you for being a part of The…read more

    • Doofanter, this is a great goal to have in life. We are who we surround ourselves by and it’s so easy to catch onto another person’s action. The action of love is something we all need to surround ourselves with and I’m glad that your goal is to be that action. I’m sure with this you will be able to gain a lot of people that love you the way you…read more
